Projektowanie Uniwersalne Kultury
The National Centre for Culture in Poland is leading a project aimed at promoting universal design and accessibility in cultural institutions such as museums, galleries, theaters, and cultural centers. This initiative will provide grants and training support.
Their mission is to redefine how we perceive accessibility, moving beyond the common understanding of just the physical access to buildings. They aim to broaden this concept and assist cultural institutions in creating services and experiences that are inclusive of people with special needs, including seniors. It is essential to be open to the needs of diverse groups.
Our task was to create a unified identification system that adheres to the principles of comprehensive accessibility. The color palette and contrast choices were carefully selected to meet the needs of a wide audience. The team at the National Centre for Culture wanted to focus on the themes of openness and accessibility rather than just the traditional views on accessibility. The project is funded by the European Union under Action 3.3 “Systemic Improvement of Accessibility.
"As part of our collaboration, Studio Transatlantico prepared a logo, brand book, key visuals, animations, and various other graphic elements for us, which met and often exceeded our expectations. Their professionalism and commitment were evident at every stage of our cooperation, and their attention to detail and creativity deserve special recognition."
Michał Rydzewski, Deputy Director of the National Centre for Culture for the professionalization and support of the cultural sector and scholarships.
